20.1 Allah is the law maker

...and He is Allah. There is no god but Him. To Him
be praise, at the first and at the last: for Him is the
command, and to Him shall you (all) be brought back.
Ch 28: V70

20.2 Allah’s laws cannot be overridden

O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things
which Allah has made lawful for you, and commit no
excess: for Allah loves not those given to excess.
Ch 5: V90
But say not - for any false thing that your tongues may
put forth, “This is lawful, and this is forbidden,” so as to
ascribe false things to Allah. For those who ascribe false
things to Allah, will never prosper.
Ch 16: V116

20.3 The Quran is the Book of Judgement

We have sent down to you the Book in truth, that you
might judge between people, as guided by Allah: so do
not argue on behalf of those who betray their trust.
Ch 4: V 105
